German Waste Oil Ordinance
Statutory Information on the Handling of Waste Oil in Accordance with the German Waste Oil Ordinance (AltölV)
Used oil must be disposed of at an authorized waste oil collection point. Improper disposal of waste oil poses a significant risk to the environment.
The addition of foreign substances, including but not limited to solvents, brake fluids, and coolants, is strictly prohibited.
Pursuant to the German Waste Oil Ordinance (AltölV), we are obligated to accept the following used oils free of charge at our designated waste oil collection facility:
- Internal combustion engine oils
- Gear oils
- Oil filters and oil-containing waste regularly generated during oil changes
You may return waste oil to us, free of charge, at our registered business address during normal business hours, in a quantity corresponding to the amount previously supplied by us.

To facilitate acceptance at our shipping warehouse / collection facility, shipments must be clearly labeled on the outer packaging with the notice “Waste Oil Recycling.”
Please note that all shipping costs associated with the return of waste oil shall be borne by the sender. Shipments with insufficient postage will not be accepted.
Where waste oil is returned via shipment, please be advised that, depending on its flash point, waste oil may be classified as hazardous material and must therefore be packaged, labeled, and declared in accordance with applicable hazardous goods regulations.
