Der Schwimmerschalter wurde für die Verwendung mit Bilgenpumpen mit einer Nennleistung von bis zu 10 A entwickelt. Der Schalter aktiviert oder deaktiviert die Bilgenpumpe je nach Wasserstand. Wenn nämlich der Wasserstand steigt, drückt er den Schwimmer nach oben, was die Bilgenpumpe einschaltet. Durch den Einbau des Schwimmerschalters entfällt die Überwachung des Wasserstands und das manuelle Ein- oder Ausschalten der Pumpe.

The Float Switch has been designed to be used with bilge pumps rated up to 10A. The switch activates or deactivates the bilge pump, depending on the water level. Namely, when the water level rises, it forces the float upwards, which switches on the bilge pump. By installing the float switch, there is no need to monitor the water level and switch the pump on or off manually.
